Why Be An Internet Marketer

Have you ever thought about being an Internet marketer? Have you ever thought about leaving your nine-to-five job and doing something on your own? Each day of our lives we need to make decisions. Some decisions are easier than others, but we still have to make decisions.

When you thought about leaving your job, did you think about what it would take to leave your job? Have you sat down and tried to figure out how much money you would need to make? When you really think about it, it might seem to be a little scary. When you work a full time job you feel like you have some security.

The truth of the matter is there is no real security when you work for someone else. The only real security is working for your self. The reason is, it's up to you if you are successful or not. When you work for someone else your success is controlled by other people.

I believe being successful is when you can do what you want, when you want, with whoever you want, without worrying about money. I do not believe that you need to be a millionaire to be successful. Let me give you an example of what I think being successful is. Let's say you make $3500 a month working a full-time job.

Now let's say you make $3500 a month but the only difference is working for yourself as the internet marketer. Would you consider that being successful? I personally think it is. If you're working a full-time job and making $3500 a month, how much longer would you have to work there to make $4000 a month?

Now if you have made $3500 a month on the internet, you obviously know how to make money. Now how much longer would it take you to increase that to $4000 a month? You could almost do that overnight.

Once you learn how to make money on the internet the only thing you really have to do is the same thing over and over. Working a full-time job you have to wait for the owner or boss to give you a raise to make that jump. Don't get me wrong, working on the Internet is not a piece of cake.

Having any internet-based business is like having any other business. It takes time, effort and yes some money. Having an internet business can be very profitable and fulfilling. But it does require a certain amount of work. Believe me, I do not like how some of the marketers proclaim how you can make thousands of dollars overnight.

This may be true if you have already been in business for awhile and you know how to make money on the internet. Or maybe you are someone that works in a specialized field that internet marketers feel can be very beneficial to them and to you. If you fall into one of these two categories, you could possibly make a lot of money overnight.

But, you can be very successful on the internet - if you take action and stay focused. If you're going to be an internet marketer, do yourself a favor and take one step at a time. Make small goals so you can achieve them, get on as many teleseminars as you possibly can, because many of them are free, and never stop learning. Learn from other internet marketers that have already been where you are now.

Creating relationships with other internet marketers is a very smart way to go. Your business will grow a lot faster if you get others involved. Going to marketing seminars is another great way to get a good education and keep your business growing

Remember, if you are going to be an internet marketer things will not always go your way. When problems come up and they will, take a 10 minute pity party break and then get back to work. Remember what your goals are and why you are doing this. Freedom from the man is a great motivator. So keep your eyes on your goals and ears open for learning and your heart pure and you will do fine.
